Terms of service
Last updated 4 November 2026 · Threadpull
Who we are
Threadpull is run by Threadpull ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and us. By installing or using Threadpull, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Threadpull.
The service
Threadpull is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge. It pulls the comments from a Reddit thread or YouTube video, or a company's Trustpilot reviews, that you have open, so you can read them, export them as CSV, JSON or text, or place them in a ChatGPT or Claude chat. It can also pull Hacker News threads, a Reddit user's comments from their profile, and many threads from a Reddit search or subreddit page.
Threadpull works inside your own open Reddit, YouTube or Trustpilot tab. It never gets around Reddit's or Trustpilot's human checks, Trustpilot's sign-in, or YouTube's sign-in, age and members-only gates. Threadpull is not affiliated with Reddit, YouTube, Google, Trustpilot, Y Combinator, OpenAI or Anthropic.
Accounts
You don't need an account to pull or export comments. A free account shows every comment and review, adds Hacker News threads and Reddit profiles, and keeps a History of your pulls. You can sign up with an email and password, or with Google. Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account. Our privacy policy explains what we store.
Acceptable use
When you use Threadpull, you agree to:
- Follow the terms and rules of Reddit, YouTube, Trustpilot and the other sites you pull from, and the law where you live.
- Not use Threadpull to harass, threaten or target anyone.
- Not use Threadpull to collect personal data for spam or unwanted messages.
- Respect people's privacy when you store, share or publish what you pull.
- Not try to break, overload or misuse Threadpull, Reddit, YouTube, Trustpilot or any other service.
You are responsible for how you use your exports and anything you make from them.
Cost
Threadpull is free to use. Without an account, each pull shows up to 20 comments or reviews, and 150 on your first pull. With a free account, it shows every one.
Intellectual property
Comments and reviews belong to the people who wrote them. Content on Reddit, YouTube, Trustpilot and Hacker News is also covered by those sites' own terms. Threadpull doesn't give you any rights to that content; it only helps you read and organise what is already public in your browser.
The Threadpull extension, website, name and logo belong to us. You may not copy or resell them.
No warranty
Threadpull is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Reddit, YouTube, Trustpilot and Hacker News can change their sites at any time, and that may stop pulls from working, fully or partly. We'll try to fix problems quickly, but we can't promise Threadpull will always work or be free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost profits, data or business, that comes from using or not being able to use Threadpull. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Termination
You can stop using Threadpull at any time by uninstalling it. To close your account, email us. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or misuse Threadpull. If we end the service for everyone, we'll give you notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we'll update the date at the top of this page and let you know before it takes effect. If you keep using Threadpull after that, you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
